A butternut rice bowl typically consists of cooked rice topped with roasted butternut squash and other toppings.

And as a food blogger, I really love to try different types of recipes and rice bowl is one of my favorite kinda recipes that I really like to make in different ways

And I love to try different options for the meal that I can enjoy all together and I really prefer to eat a rice bowl with different veggies. and today I m here to share with you all my tried tasted and delicious butternut rice bowl


 

This recipe is delicious and you can say it's a complete meal. In this recipe what's the main ingredient you have to focus on

  1. Butternut Squash: Butternut squash is a type of winter squash with a sweet, nutty flavor. To prepare for the rice bowl, the squash is typically peeled, seeded, and cubed, then roasted with oil and spices until tender and caramelized.

  2. Rice: The type of rice used in the bowl can vary, but popular options include brown rice, white rice, or a mix of both. The rice is cooked according to the package instructions and is typically seasoned with salt.

  3. Toppings: There are many possible toppings for a butternut rice bowl, depending on personal preference. Some common options include Greens: lettuce Arugula, spinach, or kale are good options to add some freshness to the bowl.

  4. Protein: Roasted chickpeas, grilled chicken, or tofu can be added for extra protein.

  5. Nuts or Seeds: Toasted pumpkin seeds or chopped almonds add crunch and flavor.

  6. Dressing: A drizzle of balsamic glaze, tahini sauce, or vinaigrette can tie the flavors together .or some tzatziki or yogurt

Overall, I can say a butternut rice bowl is a flavorful and nutritious meal that can be customized to fit your tastes and dietary preferences.


 

So let's make it How to make butternut rice bowl.

Ingredient :

  • Butternut

  • Carrot

  • Broccoli

  • Salt to taste

  • Jeera

  • Ginger chili paste

  • Origanum

  • Red chili flakes

  • Black pepper powder

  • lettuce

  • Cooked rice

  • Yogurt

  • Lemon juice

  • Cucumber


Method :

Heat a pot. Add oil once the oil heat adds jeera and ginger chili paste and saute.

Now add carrot and broccoli and cook it until it softens.

Now add parboiled butternut ( Big size ) You can do that before you add it here other it will take longer to cook.

Now add all masalas and mix them well together.

Let it cook for about 5 to 10 min more.

This butternut curry is ready


Yogurt sauce :

Mixed salt and lemon juice and cucumber in yogurt our yogurt sauce is ready


 


How to assemble:

You can serve this in 2 ways either you can have it as a bowl or as a wrap

1 - Wrap



Take tortilla or roti. spread yogurt sauce and top with rice and butter curry and some lettuce

wrap it and enjoy












2- For butternut rice bowl



Take everything in a big bowl Rice butternut curry yogurt sauce and lettuce

Mixed it well before you eat.
