Pulao(Paneer, peas , pepper )

This is a super easy Pulao recipe that I m going to share here with you all.
This recipe is so simple and yet super delicious and easy to make in just a few minutes. I used in this recipe some regular ingredients that you can find easily in your fridge or nearest market.

Pulao is a kind of biryani type only difference between both is that in biryani we add so many spices and in pulao, we can use so many types of vegetables.

This delicious pulao recipe is a perfect side dish for both weeknight and family gatherings.

Made in one pot, this simple and tasty pulao will be going one of your new favorite meal dishes. And it is so easy to make so that's the perfect recipe for your busy weeknights. And on top of that, it's also great for when you have last minute for unwanted guests.


Let's talk about the main ingredients;

  • Paneer: Paneer is a fresh cheese common in the Indian sub-continent made from full-fat buffalo or cow milk. It is a non-aged, non-melting soft cheese made by curding milk with fruit or vegetable-derived acid such as lemon juice. Info. Wikipedia

  • Bell Pepper: You can use red, green, or yellow whatever you have handy.

  • Peas: You can use fresh or frozen.

  • Rice: Used any long-grain rice or brown will work also. Or you can even make these recipes any kind of leftover plain cooked rice.


Tips for this recipe: If you using frozen peas then you don't need to cook so much.

And in this recipe, you have to cook pepper also on high flame.

We need some crunchy flavor in this recipe to maintain the paneer taste.


Now let us jump straight into the recipe :


  • Paneer

  • Finely chopped bell peppers

  • Peas

  • Cooked rice

  • Green chili sauce

  • Red chili powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Whole Jira

  • Oil/ Sesame oil


Detailed method to make Pulao :

  • Heat oil in a wok.

  • Add Jeera.

  • Add now finely chopped bell peppers.

  • Saute for a few minutes.

  • Now add peas and saute again.

  • Add salt to taste.

  • And Red chili powder. ( You can add green chili also )

  • Saute again for a few minutes.

  • At this moment add crumbled paneer, And mixed everything well.

  • Now add cooked rice and green chili sauce.

  • And mixed very well.

  • Taste before you serve.

  • Simple, Easy yet delicious pulao is ready to serve.

  • Serve hot.

  • Enjoy

Please note if you want to make this pulao extra hot and spicy add spiciness according to your taste. I don't prefer especially in this rice
