This Mexican rice is made in the comfort of your own home. This easy one-pan rice recipe requires just a handful of ingredients and comes together in just over 30 minutes.

When you went to a restaurant they serve soft, delicious rice so well- I'm here to give you perfect and super easy flavorful Mexican rice right into your kitchen.

Authentic flavor, easy process, minimal prep, and only a pan to clean.

I promise this recipe is the real deal and once you dig into this simple recipe that will become a simple in your home especially if you are craving Mexican food.

Mexican- inspired food is my all-time favorite and it's always on our menu list.


Rice :

Rice is pure comfort food and can be added to so many cuisines, as it can be an easy side dish. Rice is whether long grain, short grain, medium, or brown rice, or one of the many other varieties of rice that is loved by many.



  • What can I do to add more heat

Add jalapeno, Chili powder, or Chili flakes

  • Butter

I always use unsalted butter to control sodium levels in my dish.

  • You have to make sure to use a big enough pan for all ingredients.



  • Butter- olive oil, Vegetable oil, avocado oil. ( I used olive oil here)

  • Water - Vegetable stock or chicken broth.

  • Onion/ garlic - If you don't eat omit it. You can use more veggies like peas and carrots.

  • Rice - Any long grain or brown rice or you can make this dish using any kind of leftover rice.

  • Beans- Kidney beans or Rajma beans Or sugar beans Or black beans. Any would go great.


Let's talk about the recipe:

The Ingredient you will need for this recipe

  • Rice ( cooked or uncooked) I used cooked rice here

  • Red paper, Yellow paper, Green paper

  • Olive oil

  • Oregano

  • Freshly chopped coriander

  • Roughly chopped tomato

  • Dry red chili

 Boiled Rajma ( Any kind of  beans) 

  • Salt

Method to make:

  • Heat oil in a pan.

  • Once heat adds chopped dry red chilies.

  • Add Finely chopped red, yellow-green paper.

  • Saute everything.

  • Add tomatoes.

  • Saute again until it turns soft.

  • Now add rajma and mixed nicely together.

  • Add now oregano and salt.

  • And fifinallydd cooked rice.

  • Mixed everything nicely so all flavor comes together well.

  • Serve hot.

  • Enjoy.
